Dr. Yaimy Siboret
Principal
Yaimy Siboret has over 12 years of experience in the field of education. She began her educational career in the Miami Dade School District as a second grade teacher. Ms. Siboret spent several years teaching as a second and fourth grade teacher before becoming assistant principal in 2013. From 2014 to the present Ms. Siboret has served as principal working with elementary, middle and high school students.
Her educational experience has granted her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement while providing a nurturing and safe learning environment. Her philosophy is based on the sole belief that all students can learn, given all the necessary tools, a positive learning environment, knowledgeable leadership, a committed educational team, and encouraging community and a supportive family.
At the personal level, Ms. Siboret is the mother of three boys, her true pride and joy. The oldest graduated from the Miami International University Art & Design and followed her footsteps in the field of education. Her second son is in his third year of undergraduate school and the youngest is in middle school.
Ms. Siboret has a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary and Exceptional Student Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction: ESOL and Leadership, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Her goal is to equip every student with the necessary tools to reach their highest academic potential while serving the students and families in the local community,

Mrs. Rosali Ortega
Assistant Principal
Rosali Ortega has over 10 years of experience in education, of which the last 7 of them have been with AcadeMir Charter Schools. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida International University. For many years she was a classroom teacher of third, fourth, and fifth grade students. Mrs. Ortega is very passionate about teaching students to be life-long learners and problem solvers. She has always been very involved with the school community as a grade level chair and with leading school S.T.E.A.M. initiatives.
In 2020, she became the Mathematics Curriculum Specialist, a role that allowed her to collaborate with and support teachers in their instruction. Upon the opening of a new campus in 2021, she became the Assistant Principal for AcadeMir Charter School East in Doral. Mrs. Ortega is very excited to work closely with the students, staff and families of AcadeMir Charter School East at Doral in order to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment on the path to academic excellence.
Mrs. Ortega is married and has two daughters who are very happy and proud students at AcadeMir Charter School East.
